Are we really heading towards an end???

Everyday there is some or the other bad news which generates a sorrow feeling in our mind. Day by day increasing crimes, terrorism activities, natural disasters are making lives more and more stressful and sorrowful. On one hand people are somehow surviving the day by day increasing price rise and on the other hand riots and disputes are causing loss to our resources. The rich people are getting even richer and poor people are suffering. Trees are being cut and forests are being destroyed everywhere at a very rapid rate just for 'development' but nobody is thinking that this is not development instead we are moving towards an end by destroying trees and forests. On one hand conservation programs are being conducted for animals and on the other hand destruction of their natural habitats is done by humans. The day by day increasing demand of luxury is creating such a stress on mother Earth that now even it has started replying in the form of day by day increasing natural calamities and disasters. If things will run in such a similar manner then I am sure that we are heading towards a sure end and the who knows that even the prophecy of the 'Mayan' calender may come true and world may get destroyed in December 2012 if we will continue these destructive processes...
We have to do something about this, suggest ways from which we can minimize these devilish activities going on earth???

I have never undrestood people who worry to much about stuff. I mean, yea, we have some problems, but the problems HAVE EXISTED FOR CENTURIES and most probably will continue to exist. Without problems there would be no evolution, we would be in a standstill. Try to take the best out of life and make the best out of YOURSELF, and if you feel like you are living it to the fullest, then slowly start making the best out of the WORLD. Hope you can catch my drift. Anyways, peace and good luck ;)

Have you watched this episode from Discovery or NatGeo channel? They have come up with so many ways on how we will meet our end as a race. And maybe only a fraction of it states that we are gonna end up because of our wrong doings. There is a greater possibility that we are destroyed by other natural causes or external sources. Though there are news of disasters, pollutions and crimes, there are still many of us do what they still think is right even though it is not highlighted in some newspaper or so. Have faith! Man is not that dumb enough to let it end like this. There are still those who works very hard so that they can somehow find ways to save the Earth. What we can do now is do our part to save nature and humanity in our own little way and find ways on how to extend that habit to others. Don't dwell on the negative side of things...

Live the moment and enjoy the moment you have in your life to spend in this world.We cant able to stop the natural things to be happened.So enjoy yourself.

I think this is what's being said in the Bible as the signs of times. But as nobody really knows when the world's going to end. I think people should know how to take care of things that we have. Especially mother earth. We live in it and breath its air, people tend to ruin their surroundings and only think of themselves -ie cutting trees for their benefits. So if everyone cares for mother nature then these events will or might end.

Are we really heading towards an end?to me this is an obvious question. we can discuss this from few perspective : religious, the history of the world, religious view and prediction.as we all know, Armageddon or the end of day is mentioned in all the major religions in this world including christian, Islam and Buddhist. in Islam the end of day " hari khiamat " will fall on Friday,21.12.2012 is Friday . buddist on the other hand says about cause and effect so everything that exist must destroy one day like it or not..
