Does Anyone Think That The Matrix Was One Of The Best Movies?

The matrix is one of the best movies of all times. I don't think any thought of such an good ideal of a movie.

Personally the movie is fantastic and challenging as well! It took me few times of re-watching to fully understand the whole plot (even without looking at reviews online). I find that the movie requires a number of IQ to be able to indulge in the essence of the movie's thrill. Now I am able to understand each and every detail in the movie trilogy. :) This is a movie I recommend watching, especially Matrix Revolution (third of the trilogy series) if you have blu-ray player! The effects are incredible!

Yes, it has super cool special effects and fantasting acting and quality.BUT the most interesting thing in the film was the plot! The idea of the fake, super realistic world is amazing and revolutional seen in action movie. The idea of the movie has been seen only in the philosophical books.

Hi there, ivod2e! Indeed, the plot is amazing in terms of the whole script. There are sense of classiness and elegance of how they depict the plot of "how the future will be dominated by artificial intelligence". Even similar-plotted movie (like Terminator series) cannot be compared with Matrix trilogy. My another thing is the futuristic elements of background, so the Zion part is an extra 1 star if I have to review the movies.

I really liked that movie. They said something about a parallel reality. However I paid less attention to the theories and focussed more on the action. I did not know Keanu Reeves was so good with actions. I admire his agility. However I have seen the shooting. The actors wore belts all over there bodies and numerous strings were used to hang them. So when we saw people flying and beating each other, it was actually those strings that were being pulled. They were more like puppets on strings. The movie was really excellent. The heroine was sexy.

Matrix is one of the best movies when it comes to cgi animation. Story is really futuristic. Remember that matrix is the one responsible for the birth of other graphic action scenes like the slow motion dodging of bullets that i think most of the movies copy.

Yes it is one of the best movies of all times. Slow motion and other movie techniques were used first time in this movie. Also the scenario is unique and very interesting. If you still remember the actor who is Keanu Reeves on this movie, i think the movie is very effective.

If we're talking about the first movie in that trilogy then yes, it's on my top ten best movies of all time. The concept is just so thought-provoking and mind-breaking. Can't say the same for the two sequels though, because it feels as if they're just hammering in the visual effects for maximum entertainment value.

Oh my gosh. The matrix is by far the best movie ever. I must say though that Inception is another awesome movie.
