Where should I go on a road trip?

My friends and I are graduating high school this spring, and we want to go on a road trip before we all go off to different colleges in the fall. We were thinking about going to Arizona, but that's going to cost too much in gas. What are some good places we can go to that will take about a week total for driving (there and back)? We live in Indianapolis, and I know that Chicago is close, but we have all been there a few times before and don't find it very exotic.
