An open mind is the doorway hat can lead you to a life of peaceful living and understanding. An open mind can guide you when others doors may close upon you.

Oh yes, most certainly. People fear what they don't understand, hate what they fear, and feel malice towards what they hate. Arguments and disagreements are due to lack of understanding.
Take religion for example. Wars are often fought in the name of religion, despite the fact that both of their religions are against violence. If they could understand each other then they would see that they are not a threat to each other and they can coexist in peace. Unfortunately, they don't understand and they misjudge, and grow suspicious of their morals and motives, which begets fear, which begets hate, which begets violence.
There is so much conflict on this planet, all rooting back to fear. If we let go of fear we can find inner peace, which will manifest into outer peace, world peace.
Meditation is the first step to open-mindedness. We need to stop judging ourself so that we can stop judging others.

well, yeah i guess it would help a lot... people who are very open minded does not seem to have a lot of issues with them because they tend to understand people, and situation better, right...
when you are the kind of person that have ideas stuck in your mind... you would tend to just struggle instead of understanding and that would lead to frustration... i guess.

Yes,I definitely think that being open minded helps people being more tolerant with those around them and accept the fact that we don't look or think the same and we must accept and try to understand other people's conceptions and lifestyle.I just wish there were more open-minded people in this world!
