Given a budget of USD500 for a 4 days and 3 nights stay, where will that take you? To what destinations may it be local or foreign can this budget bring you based from your home country?

I would choose to get a flight on a low cost airline to Italy or better still Croatia. I would take my disabled son and baby daughter. So I would get an adult, a child and an infant plane ticket. We would camp at the Plivice Lakes for three nights. There would be lots of wheelchair friendly walks and lakes to see. We could just about manage to do this on a budget of $500 US dollars. From my home country airlines like Ryan Air and Easy Jet have very low fares. Camping doesn't cost very much money.

I have using Ryan Air and Easy Jet for my clients back then. They sure have the lowest fares. hehehe... Now the only problem I have is how to go to Europe from Manila with a budget fare. hahaha...

Actually, there is one. But I can't time the promo. Air Asia X offers flights from Kuala Lumpur to London and Paris. Sometimes their fares are so low. All I have to do is buy a promo fare also from Manila to Kuala Lumpur. hahaha... Easier sadi than done.

i am not too sure about Singapore. It is expensive here. Take note that the USD40 promo fare do not include taxes.
Malaysia, I think, your budget is enough.
But this all depends on where are you coming from?

hi mommyfied! The promo fare of USD40 I am talking about includes taxes already... :D hehehe... Just wait for the right time and you will get almost the same fare. That budget would be enough I guess. Based on one of our previous trip, we went for 6 days to 3 countries for only USD650. More or less this will be ok... :D We are from the Philippines... :D

That is doable... If you get a promo fare of USD40 for the trip and enjoy staying in a lodge or backpacker's hotel, you will have plenty of budget for the tours, food, souvenir and shopping...hahaha...

That amount of money would take me to many places in my country (fare, lodgings and food) for a week in the program that my gorvernment has for retired people. When I went to Arica I spent a little over that for the week I was there but it was the city farthest away from mine. I think I can also go for a 3 day stay to Mendoza, a city in my neighbour country Argentina. Mendoza is not far from Santiago (you only have to cross the Andes). This is one of the places I haven´t been to, maybe because it´s so near.

Nice! Actually, I was gonna add a little correction to my discussion... USD500 per person for 4 days and 3 nights...hehehe...
Bali would be a great place to visit. I have been trying to book a plane going to Bali for the past 2 years but it is one of the first that is always booked by others. So the fare we are getting are pretty high. Hopefully this year I can go to Bali with or without any companion...hahaha...
