the discoverey will make it most likely o pridect if the baby does have a straight or curly hair !!! dn't you think that dna is awesome ????

I believe DNA is awesome, but for other intense and purposes. Those who feel this is right for them, I suppose it is a good thing. I would worry though if I could make changes and or select that type of preference and other issues arose from that.
Amazing how Medical technology has evolved.

Must be some strange gene though, I mean I was born with curly hair and as I got older the curls became larger until it became wavy and now they are non-existent. My parents don't have curly hair, maybe my dad but his hair is too short to know for sure, but my grandma and my aunts have curly hair.
My hair became straighter even before I started dyeing my hair. I've bleached it and permed it too. Funny to say that the perm has become straight too. Do you think it could be the shampoo?

@SylverSfynx could be the chemicals that have made your hair straighter is my guess, unless some of your earlier genealogy heritage has straighter hair also.
