Once you have gotten an article or articles actually approved and published on Triond...how do you make money..or do you have to direct the traffic to your site to get hits on your particular submission to make anything?

Make sure to do a little bit of promoting to get it going. Stumbleupon, digg, etc, are all good sites to do that with. Should only take a minute or two to do only, and it is very worth it.

you have to promote your site around the web so that people can find it and read/view it. Like someone said above share it on social bookmarking sites and submit your article to search engines. Some say pinging your blog helps as well.

I joined Triond a long time ago but I only passed only one article. Until then, I haven't passed any because I can't think of any topic for an article. But as for your question, your article must have a number of "likes" and "comments" for you to earn. And you should have an article worth reading so that the other readers will like it. You just have to let your friends know about your article for them to like it (you can use Facebook to share your link). Goodluck!

Well it took a long time for me to get a lot of views on my articles. But now that I've been active on Triond for half a year, I have built a network of friends there, and they will see my new articles in their news feed. If the title of the article interests them, they'll have a look and perhaps comment. Just make sure to add friends, comment on their articles, etc. Building a network is quite important! I also use social bookmarking like stumbleupon, digg, reddit,... And my articles get posted on my twitter automatically! I also have a Triond-widget on my blogs.

Join up on social bookmarking sites and social media sites... Twitter, StumbleUpon, Digg, etc. Find a couple of free URL submissions sites as well. Start sending your link out that way. Also, be sure to use appropriate tags for your work... don't expect to get a lot of hits for poetry though... Try writing a couple of articles ... news, editorial, etc. Add random users as friends/fans.... that should help ya out :)
