Was Wondering If Anyone Has Seen The New Anthony Hopkins Movie The Rite?

I have saw it, and I would like my money back please :( !! My opinion of the film was, It was pretty disappointing. Anthony Hopkins is by far my favorite Film Actor of all times! 'The Rite' is a PG-13 Movie, So Don`t expect to see much Gore or anything else too controversial. The thing that bothered me the most was the by far sub par story line. The Story line was nothing near great, In Fact it was just mediocre and borderline AT BEST! You might want to wait until the 'The Rite' goes straight to DVD Format. After watching the movie and then reading my thread I think you will know exactly what I mean. The Fact alone that the movie was PG-13 I think speaks for itself, So the Gore most Sir Anthony Hopkins Fans are used to in his previous work, there is absolutely no comparassion. I would rather watch Silence of the Lambs 97 Times then have to sit through this. The only reason I sat through this movie was so I could finish writing an article for you guys, I just wish I could be more open to the movie, but I couldnt. I gave this movie a 2 out of a 5. Please before you bash my movie, At least Go See The Movie and I'm willing to put money where my mouth is that you will agree with me :)

I love Anthony Hopkins movies. One of the greatest actor out there. But never hered of this movie yet. I'll check the movie trailer later. How I wish another sequel of the hannibal movies.

Hiya Cherry, Have not seen that one either but if Anthony Hopkins is in a Film then it surely has a great rating and acceptance with most People. I like him too as an Actor and I like most of his Films one of my favourites "The Lion In Winter" okay he does not exactly star in but there he is with those two magnificent Actors Peter O´Toole and Katherine Hepburn. Just lately there are loads of older Films being shown but they are ones that I don´t care much for really.

I haven't see this movie yet, but i loved the trailer for it. I am a hug Anthony Hopkins fan. His films always have a lot of depth. i can't wait to see "The Rite." It looks like something worth seeing.

I saw this movie this summer. It's a horrible exorcist movie. Although it's horrible yet the content of the movie "The Rite" can be differentiate into reality. The story is about the faith of one's priest. That he is not sure of his faith, that he doesn't believe to any faith. So on the way of the story his faith is being tested, by dealing with the exorcist. From there incident, the faith which he is in doubt grows inside him. Then the exorcist get dissappeared. Try to watch this movie.
