Joomla Vs Worpress

I have no experience with joomla, and I am just getting notice about it. About Wordpress, I only knew that it was a website simply for bloggers, and nothing else I would know about wordpress. So, if I want to design my own website by using joomla or wordpress, would both works the same for me? I also need some third party opinion on this too.

In my opinion wordpress doesn't have enough optioins and fuctions and is not as dynamic as Joomla. with wordpress you can easily build blogs with templates. With you can do that as well as many more. You can actually create manydifferent types of website. You can open whole e-commerce website and start selling. it provide loads of functionaly and facilities for all kinds of websites. There are many free modules and plugins that makes building website with joomla very easy. You don't need to know complecated codes. i just use free components and models from extension.joomla.com I wouldn't opt wordpress for Joomla is all rounder and provides CMS facilities and great user control systems.
