Why mylot is less popular than free forum?

In mylot people get paid to post. But, don't this make you wonder why other free forum and group had better activity?
Money is not too interesting for people? I don't think so.
I think there should be something wrong with mylot that people are reluctant to post even if they get paid to do so.

what i personally feel is that forums are some what much more interactive and there are a few things that encourage you. for example, people reply to your post there very easily where as i have seen quite a few discussion here which are not getting responses where as few silly questions get a lot of response for example still there are questions like which one is the best browser, which search engine is the best and stuff like that. i mean, if you take the pain of searching the database of this site, you will for sure find thousands on threads or discussions on the same topic. so if you are looking for answer, read those posts. then there are ways to upload images and do other stuff which are not possible here and that is why i think it is not as active or popular as forums.

You have hit the nail on the head, amitavroy. In my opinion anyway. So many silly 'poll type' posts get a plethora of responses and comments, while others sit dormant. It does get boring.
I think the myLot premise is a good one. Allow people to interconnect in many different interests from all over the world and reward them, but the best-laid plans often go awry.
I admit, I've given up on any serious discussions in my interests here. For that, I do go to other forums. Now I'm in just for the cents too. But I still can't bring myself to post a question on whether you wear pajamas or a nightgown to bed.

I wonder why as well. So mayn forum out there but mylot is just not as well-known, it pays however. I think I am glad that I come across mylot, I don't use any other forum but only mylot.

Well,i think there are two reasons.
First, many people don't know the existence of mylot. As others' response put it:almost all people know facebook or messenger. But only a small portion of them know mylot.
Second, it is a little strange that people are more active in those forums which can't pay them a cent, but reluctant to post in mylot with a small bonus. Maybe when we treat mylot as a way to earn money, then its low earning drive away some people. But i think if we not take it as a way of earn, then we will be more concentrate on share ideas and make friends here. So why not put the money issue aside, and just as you are doing in other forum, to enjoy discussing with friends? I think when we are not care about too much about money, then we will be happier when we got the bonus from mylot.

Because here in myLot, it takes time to earn big bucks. They may have enough thinking skills for the discussions of the topics but they don't have enough patience.
Geez, people these days, always in a rush.
Forget the big bucks, just speak out! Happy myLotting everyone! ^_^
