I admit it, cookies don't stay in the house for long.

If I have one weakness, its the fact that when I have cookies in the house, they get eaten rather quickly. It is just something that compels me to eat them. After all, when you have one cookie, you have to have another and hey one more won't hurt. Then they are gone quickly. I can't be the only person who is like this.

Biscuits are not my favourites type of sweets however sometimes I think that my partner is addicted to them. We have to have at home two or three packager of biscuits. His favourites are coated with milk chocolate. If he starts to eat them he has to eat all of the package.

Cookies truly don't stick around long around me that's for sure! Then add the kids into the equasion and a batch of cookies are gone usually the same day they are gone. So I find it best if we can behave ourselves to just not make or buy any. But I'm afriad that goes for alot of things.

That just goes to prove that people of any ages are going to appreciate cookies. It is a tasty treat that can be appreciated by people of each and every age to stay the very least. There are a number of times where a lot of us I think really go over the top with eating a lot of cookies. There are a number of times where we indulge in these tasty treats and it is a rather glorious thing to say the very least.
I really do agree that adding children into the equation is really going to burn through a lot of those cookies. Not that us adults are going to be all that much better with the eating of the cookies. We are about the same level or rather worse. It does go for a lot of things where not buying them can solve a lot of problems. Yet it may only work for a short time, before temptation gets the better of us in many instances. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Hi. megamatt. Same here. I love cookies and if I bought the right kind of cookies, they would not stay in my house longer than a month. For the fresh homemade cookies, they would be eaten within a couple of days. I love cookies too and they are so very delicious!

Cookies are really great all things considered. I really like eating cookies. There is really no such thing as a bad cookie. Granted, I tend to go overboard every now and again. Everyone has their own weaknesses after all. Still there are a lot of times where I do enjoy cookies. Homemade cookies are the best, I agree with that. Best done in moderation however I do think about it. However, really good, cookies are. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Cookies do seem to have their own way of evaporating. they can be store bought to homemade. One cookie is just not enough.

Indeed it is very easy to go through cookies. One cookie is never enough. Two or three or more might not be enough a lot of the time as well. You always think that you'll just have one but it is never really just one. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

well you are indeed right. cookies are just like heaven sent for us "sweet tooth" people. when it gets right at your tongue, it seems like you can't just have enough of them, so the tendency is to inevitably eat one after another until it runs out, then after that you wanna go and buy dozens of those again. i perfectly know what you are going through.. and i don't think there's something wrong with that as long as we know our limitations.

That is really the case for everything when you think about it. Knowing your limitations on everything. There are a lot of times where people need to keep themselves in check, if they are properly going to get what they need to do in life. Still cookies are one of the biggest weaknesses. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

LOL, I actually sitting here eating cookies now. Whats funny is that earlier I baked a dozen. My husband out (shooting pool) and my daugther ate 2 cookies. My husband is on his way home and I have like 4 left. Its taken me 2 hours to eat 6 cookies... shame on me.

Just two hours for six cookies. Let's just say there have been times where I have eaten six cookies in about twenty minutes or so. Not exactly something I would recommend mind you. Of course sitting at the table right next to the cookie jar is not the best idea in the world for trying to avoid eating cookies. That is just asking for a disaster.
In the end, it wouldn't matter too much I think. Cookies would be eaten in a relative quick manner. Then again there is quick and then there is quicker. Therefore it would really depend on the day and how easily I had to access them. Access can make all of the difference, on when you find something to eat. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Good old French fries. Another food that can disappear. Also on a more healthy spin, raisins. Never can really get enough of raisins. Those three foods really do disappear quickly for me. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Wow, i am with you on this one. I normally buy these in handfulls of packs when i see them on offer. I love to take advantage of offers on things like cookies, especially as i know that they will not last long. Everytime i make a bre i like to dunk the cookie in, i do this with quite a few. Once my brew is finished i still continue to have another, then another, then another. Suddenly i then realise that i have about 4 or 5 left, i then feel like, what is the point of putting them away, i may aswel just finish the pack off, and so most of the time i do. I do also like baking my own chocolate chip cookies, the ingredients are so cheap to buy, i tend to make a load, when i have done the first batch and i am waiting for the second batch to cook i tend to try 1 or 2 or 3 of the first batch, they just seem to be so very very addictive. I am going to start to look like a cookie if i carry on eating as many as i do.

Yeah it is just delicious and cookies tend to vanish within a matter of moments. If someone ever opened a rehab facility for cookie addicts, they would make a lot of money. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yeah chocolate chips are the best. Especially considering that chocolate is so great. So if you put it in the form of a cookie, then that is a snack that can't be beat. The gas station down the street has a bakery that has the best chocolate chip cookies. I rarely go in for gas, just to get their cookies. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
