Earlier, I heard from our local radio station that he committed suicide. I haven't had much details about it, but it's a shocking one for me. Politicians committing suicide here in the Philippines is very much unusual.
The news stated that he went to the cemetery to visit his mom, he let his children leave first, and from there, he shot his heart.
Whether the accusations are true or not, I felt sorry for him. There's always ways for him to defend himself, to beg forgiveness for those innocent military souls who go to battles without having much stuffs for protection, and for him to surrender the wealth. It's a very tragic news. What he did won't bring any justice to anybody - whether it's for the people, his family, the military, and etc.

I also heard the news and yes it's true that justice won't be served with what has happened to him.It was such a tragic way to evade justice for himself, family and all the people involved.

It was such a shocking news to all of us here at the office. We can't believe he would take his own life because of what is happening. All the questions left hanging. I never could understand why he would do it, cause I don't know why he thinks that by killing himself, all the accusations would die with him. He just left his family without someone who could defend them, and that's whats really sad. Taking ones life is never the answer, and if he just believed in the justice system, and told the truth he wouldn't need to kill himself. It's such a sad story, and my heartfelt condolence goes to the family.

Now that more news and information are coming out, I guess he was just really too depressed due to what is happening in his life. I do hope he just told the truth than take his own life. I guess he doesn't believe in the saying that the truth will eventually set you free.

i was also shocked to hear the news, I'm not a fan of politician and Angelo actually has a lot of baggage, it seems that "money can't really buy peace of mind", no matter how rich he became he still lost it in the end..sometimes i wonder if what he did means cowardice, i mean, he is innocent until proven guilty by the court right? but with what he did he just convicted himself guilty.
Lets just pray for his soul to rest in peace.

never in my wildest dreams did i think he'd ever do that
i guess the damage he took to his name compelled him to die by his own hands

Most of the Philippine people heard about this news. It did get mixed reactions though. But, in my opinion, why do the deed of killing your self if you never did have a guilty conscience right? But, we would never know if he really did it.

its a very sad news.. we all were surprised as to what his actions were. he should have stick to the fight and cleared his name... not this fast and not this way... he has accomplished so much in his life and ending the good things just this violently was not what his family could have expected themselves... he seemed so much better than this...

That is sad that he chose to end his life. Maybe he was thinking that he might be able to restore his reputation on this issue anymore since the more he defend himself the more he is exposed to the public. I think the humiliation he got from all of this push him to much over the edge that he saw no way out but doing this.
I guess this is what can happen to anyone that is being push to the limits about some truth.
