Like any fruit varieties of strawberry tastes a little different from the others. So, some are sweeter than others. If you find it really sour, just put cream and sweetened milk. Or, make a fruit shake out of it.

strawberries are tasty but very bitter in the middle. the core of it is the part that you have to cut out, then you will have a very tasty strawberry. Hope this helps

I used to grow my own strawberries. I usually only eat them when they are in-season & always certified organic. A few months ago I paid quite a high price for a punnet of huge organic strawberries from Western Australia. They were huge! They were the most beautiful & sweet strawberries all the way through. Their colour was perfect & they were glowing with health. We usually find the odd mouldy one at the bottom of the container in pre-packed strawberries here - but there were none in this lot! That is a good idea to sell strawberries by the kilogram. I visited an organic farm once where I could pick my own. I picked a few big boxes full & it made a great present for my mum who made strawberry jam out of them. I think I paid about seventy dollars all up & they took most of the morning to pick.

I have actually eaten strawberries only once. There are no strawberries in the market or in supermarkets in my city, that's why. But when I went to Manila last week, I had the opportunity to buy some. That was the first time I've ever eaten strawberries in my whole life. I hope I get to eat some more soon.
