Meeting new friends around the Globe =)

I don't go to any social network actually except maybe in facebook. I only have my real friends there. So I don't have any chance to interact with any other people that I don't know. But I think mylot is a great way to find new friends globally. This past few days, I was thinking. I think I consider mylot as a social network already. I see more activity and interaction among members in mylot as those other social networks.

You dont necessarily have to have a lot of common interests with people in order to make friends with them.In fact,some of the most rewarding friendships are between two people who don't have much in common at all. Sometimes you can chat your heart out but it wont get you a friend if you dont open up the opportunity for another conversation. Social networking sites such as Facebook,twitter and My Space are great ways to meet new people and learn more about the people you meet.

I love to make new friends too. I love to talk with girls from Philippines as they are very pretty. I want to make friends with Americans as they are funny. I love to talk to Britons as they are simple and straight forward. I used to chat in Yahoo and I loved to move around in chat rooms of different countries. Back then, I had friends from all over the globe. I had friends from Egypt. I used to chat with Americans. I had fun with Indonesians. I had so many Brazilian friends that I can't remember names of all of them. I had a friend from California, USA who almost went crazy after her boyfriend broke up with her. I had a friend from UK who was just like younger brother to me. We used to talk about how to impress girls. Chatting with people from all over the world is a great thing to do. I think Yahoo is the best in making friends. Next comes Orkut. Facebook is totally obsessed with privacy. That paranoia prevented it from being a platform for meeting new people. So Facebook lies at the bottom in my list.

hello! Its nice to make new friends from around the globe. If you want to join social networking sites, it is ok as long as you know the advantages and disadvantages. You may join facebook, twitter, friendster, etc. Just be sure you have to manage your privacy setting so as to protect yourself. Not everyone who joined these sites tell us exactly who they really are. Some even use other names just to have many accounts or even don't tell their real age because they are still minors and facebook only allow users who are 18 years old and above. Hope you will be able to gain true friends from these social networking sites.
