The Philippines has gone through various administrations in the past. However, the country continued to suffer from poverty. Myriads of Filipinos are unemployed and corruption is still rampant. The Philippines is suffering from the same social and economical issues that were present decades ago. Will there be hope for the country? What do you think are the solutions for the Philippines to become a progressive one?

We all know that change starts with self. We cant totally blame the government for the downfalls, employment and corruption. I believe it is moral decay.

We always dream big of improving our country...and yet the weapons to correct what is wrong is right before us but we choose to either ignore it or "go with the flow of corruption".
For example, everytime we vote our leaders, do we choose those who are known to be honest, clean and effective...Or do we chose leaders who spends a lot during election day or popular because they are TV or movie personalities? Do we ignore or look deeper into the history of corruption charges against them if existing? Do we vote at all during election day?
When government official/employees or policemen asks for bribe money, do we oblige or report them to the authority? When we see a crime happening, do we help the victim or just ignore it?
Changes for the better can be done, but it also involves all of us making the right decisions.

It will require collective efforts from the people. From the poorest to the richest, each one of us a role to play. We could stop corruption by obeying laws, by avoiding corrupting officials, by resisting manipulations, by involving ourselves in the cause, by being aware of what's happening in the country, by reporting abuse, by denying self-interest. All of these constitute efforts to end all of these corruptions!

I would suggest that the Philippines undergo a complete overhaul I mean corruption should be dissolve and eradicated, but that would be the biggest challenge that we will face for sure since I am very much confident to say that in all walks of government offices even the humble position of traffic aid, even tanod, corruption is rampant in one way or the other. Then prioritization of the government should be done after the eradication of corruption it may be education and job promotion, or family planning to lessen the effect of population explosion.
