In need of recording software.-please help.

I want to record the activities that is performed on monitor, in the form of video. Can any one provide me the information about the best software that can be used for this purpose?

I recommend camstudio.. i took a deep test on it and its very good

Camtasia is the best one I use for recording my screen for tutorials. But if you are looking for software to record your games I recomand you to use Fraps. Hope I helped you.
