TRUE BEST FRIENDS

Do you have any true "Best Friends"? My grandmother told me when I was a child that if a person had 5 true friends over the course of a lifetime, you could feel you had really been blessed. I have had a number of good friends, but only two (three if I count my husband) who are close enough they could call on me day or night for anything and I would come without a question. How many of these true "Best Friends" have you had in your life?

It's an ilusion to say that you have a true friend because you don't know when or how he/she treat like a trash....

I would have to disagree with you. My closest friend found out I needed major, life threatening surgery last spring. Without asking, she took a week of her vaction (she is a Registered Nurse), drove 6 hours to where my surgery was being done, and spent the week as my personal nurse in the hospital at her own expense (she is not a wealthy woman)...the same friend....the year before her adult daughter was critically shot in a fluke accident and was rushed into surgery to try and save her life. I currently live some 2,500 miles away from her, but you wanna bet I was calling the airlines making the first available reservation to get to her.
Sorry if you haven't yet been blessed with that kind of friendship in your world.

well i am 36 yrs old and i have only 1 of those people in my life..that i know will never abandon me at no cost or no time in my life..but i do feel blessed with the only 2 close friends i do have in my life

yes, i have and how thankful i am because now and then they are still
here at my side to help and to support you. we are a 7 all of them are my true and best of friend forever:) i too much proud to them it's because they don't leave you in times of trial they always there that's why also im here because they are also my inspiration.

I only have one and she is my sister buy hey, I am only twenty-two years old so I still have some time left to search for my other four.
