Why is that? They always find fault in someone...even though he or she is trying his or her best to do his job and serve the people. You can never really please everyone. They are always going on rallies, I think it's just much sometimes. I'm talking about our President Pnoy, even on his birthday the people still had a rally..protesting against him. It's not even a year, and all they can say is he's not governing the country well... Can't people be patient and not keep pressuring him? BEing president is a tough job. Don't just always complain and instead help him by cooperating...

well i don't know much about that president but i guess people love pointing out the faults in others. Sometimes it is more like a blame game. when you can't do anything right, you find someone to say that he/she is solely responsible and are not doing their job right!?

In my 27 years of existence, I have observed that as well. Whoever is in the position, regardless of what he or she does, still no one appreciates. Instead, they complain and criticize. Maybe, people does not really have that absolute satisfaction or what we call contentment. What others don't realize is that instead of asking what the president or the country can do for them, ask themselves, what they can do for the country? If all people could just think they way we do, maybe we have a much better place than what we have right now. Right?

I don't think people can ever be content- since no one is perfect, they always complain about our President's faults and don't even take note of the good that some of them had done for us.. I agree with your point- that people should also contribute to the betterment of our country.

I don't belive that people are patient enough to allow themselves to be satisfied. We all want that instant gratifiation. When we don't get it, we show oou unhappiness with the way things are in our lives.

I totally agree with you. I also understand how you feel because it also happens to the president in my country. When he was doing something good, there are the various parties who want to find his fault. I was very upset when I heard the response of several parties who misunderstood my president's speech, but he clearly says the right thing. Why does it happen? We should all unite to support our leaders, instead of trying to bring him down. So I do not really like politics, it seems more political world filled by people who want to bring you down. However, whatever happens, I will continue to support my president. And I'm sure you would too. Keep spirit!

your right , in our country peoples are like that they are not patient enough to wait for the moment to come, if they want it, they like they got it ASAP. That is one
faults of our countrymen, , , they are not wise enough psychologically to analyze and realize what they are doing.

I think that would be a problem with people and government leaders the world over. People are never satisfied with them at all. No matter what decision that they might make, it will always be looked at. Someway or another, for better or for worse, they will be called out for not governing the country as well as they should. That is a part of life and why being the president of any country no matter what is a thankless job that I would never want.
I think that people really are never satisfied a lot of the time in general. We want this...no not like that...we want it like this. You're never going to satisfy people. The more power, the less likely that they are going to be satisfied, so hopefully all you can do is the best that you are able to. Let the results speak for themselves in the end, for better or for worse.

Usually this happens when people are expecting so much from a person and they want to see results immediately. These people needs or looks for someone to change their lives but never gave efforts to change their own lives. I read this banner that says "The change I want to see starts in me". This is very true that if we want change then change should come from within us and not from others.
As for President PNoy, we should help him in helping us. Heaven actually helps those who helps themselves. It's like asking for help to push one's cart but never gave effort to try push it on his own.
I hope everyone will come to realize this.

Yes it is very easy to criticize rather to appreciate. So people tend to choose the easier path and condemn everything the others do. They do nor realise that they have created a chain of criticism which they are also a part of. It only increases negativity and rudeness in people.

I agree with you, lady1993. I feel sorry for our president sometimes. He has to deal with his critics, this country's problems and whatnot and he even gets tied up with his little sister's love situation. It must be really tough for him to belong to such a politically respected and influential family while being the highest ranking officer of a country that worships showbiz.
To be honest, I really don't get it either. I mean, I don't have anything against our president's decisions. It's his prerogative and I trust him enough to not question his leadership capabilities. I know he can steer this country to the right direction. I think it's just that some people think they're better than everybody else. Stinking ego, you could say. And that kind of attitude clearly doesn't and will never help anything. I just wish people would just keep their mouths shut and do the right thing. Life would be much easier.
