Video advertising -The new irritating advertising program? / myLot

I get very irritated when i click on website or ads on ptc's opening a website which start playing a video ,i find it very irritating.Most people say video ad is new way of advertising, the best new thing online.I keep my speakers off and only switch them on when i want to listen to music and watch videos. what do you think?

I can't understand how so many people over estimate the speed of the Internet. Let's be real here, many users wont ever see the video as it was made. Instead they just get a few jerks of picture and an occasional pop of sound.
