Decisions are your future

His name is Filigs, hes a damn crazy person and hes really cool, you can see how crazy he is by watching him talking this way, oh well its a decision he made to talk in 3rd person, he could talk normally, in 1st person like everyone else, but he wants you to think hes crazy and diferent, its a decision that will change his future in MyLot... Or maybe not!
This discussion is a referent to my old discussion I made 2 years ago, which talks about the decisions you make that can change your future, this is just something so simple and obvious, that what you do in the present will change your future, its just as obviois as that, you do that without noticing, you maybe don't know it but you know it if you can understand me!... The best exemple of that maybe its the school, why did you go or are you going to school everyday, just for fun? Ofcourse not.
You go to school to learn things that will help you in your future, in order just not for culture but to get a job and earn good money if you go deep in your studies, if you choose that, you're choosing the good way for your life, its a choice, in other words, a decision you make... This is why you should | think twice before doing something |.
Now, thats my story, give me your opinions about this way of thinking, tell me if its a fact or not, and if possible, I would apreciate, tell me a story!

The school example is true, but nowadays how things are, the crysis and everything, it's getting difficult to get a job in the future. But this discussion isn't about the economic problem in the world ain't it?
But as I said that the school example is true I also say that is false. And the reason for that is that the future is the INDEFINITE time perior after the present. And the meaning of indefinite in this particular phrase is that you can't guess what's gonna happen in the future. You can study a lot and even get a PhD or a master's degree and get no job. You can end working in a coffee or at a fast food restaurant per example. That's just an example, but there are thousands of others examples similar to this.
The future is unpredictable. You can die in a blink of an eye without guessing it. Practically anything can happen without you guessing it.
And that's my opinion =)

Thats true, studying alot won't assure that you will have a good job, I totally agree with that, what I dont agree is that you will be working on a cofee, who will study alot to end up working in a coffee? Noone will, they rather wait for a better job than having the least paid jobs.
This thread talks about the changes you can do in the present in order to make your future, lets have an exemple, you're having a serious arguement with a teacher of yours, you really want to insult him or her, but, you won't, you're made the right choice, if you insulted, things would get deep, bad things would happen to you in the school, like getting expelled from the school, if you choose to shut up, you will just get an absent, thats a decision that would change your future, you get it?

I know this post is very old, but I just watched a movie that came out some weeks ago, its called "Source Code", and I was so happy when I saw it, because, it really proves my idea is right, I mean this is a fact, it really looks right, but for those who doesnt believe, I know thats a movie, but to create a movie you need ideas, and that idea came from someone that knew this was real, so he decided to make the movie... That movie really made me smile :)

I believe every step you take affects your future in some way...we all have choices to a point but then we are led along the path in life and everything thing we do affects our own future and others, there have been good movies out and I can't remember there names where they explain how we affect others, how one minute late can make adifference in some way, as an example...i decided years ago to have a party, two friends of mine met, fell in love and now they have childrenand are so happy, so one decision on my part to have a party affected two people in one way and produced two children... bit different from your topic but the decisions we make can have huge affects in many ways...

Not diferent from my topic, its the same topic, just another subject, yes thats my point, those two people decided to go to that party, if they didnt go, they wouldn't be what they are today, they made that choice, thats really my point, thanks for the comment, rated!

Thanks, I really liked to see that, sorry for seeing that only now though, I've been away from this site for a bit but I'm back now and I'm really on fire with lots of ideas, so I'm really following that way, and I hope I have the same or more number of posts as you some day :D

Yes I believe that the thoughts you think and thereby the decisions that you choose are directly related to your life experience. Your life is controlled by the way you think and what you think about. I think its different for everyone but deep down we all want to be happy and joyful in our lives. So sometimes we don't make decisions that are align with us being truly happy, but those chooses give us the opportunity to learn what the correct way is and how truly great it feels.
