Paying for direct referals

I say this idea on some forums some time ago and I thinked in making it myself. It's a kind of deal similar to the referal exchange but here the deal is that one joins a site under a friend as a referal and he pays back some of its clicks, somewhat like a rented ref, but not bot but real people instead. What do you think about that? Would it be good, for both the referal and the referer? I like the idea, but would people like to join? Maybe it can be good enough (or not) to setup a MyLot task asking for it. I've only participated in one of such things once, and the site went scam, so neither of us were paid. Again, I ask for opinions :)
