Woman tries to send a puppy through the mail!

That's really stupidity! poor puppy. She could have just deliver the puppy safely and without problems. Now I bet her son is angry at her.

OMG! That's terrible! :( Thank God the mailman noticed the puppy! Gosh, I can just imagine how it struggled inside! :( I can definitely say common sense. I mean, did she think she can get away with it just because the mailman didn't inform her about items not to ship? Duh! I wanna give that woman a slap on the face! Although, I must say that there really are some people who are really that ignorant. But her not knowing is still not an excuse.

I heard this story yesterday since I hang out at Facebook so much. I've heard a lot of cases of animal cruelty stories over there and it never ceases to amaze me what people will do to live, living, breathing animals with souls. I have no idea what kind of a-hole this woman was though to think she could mail a puppy by regular mail..like what WAS she thinking? Just because the post office didn't list what could or could not be sent via mail, common sense should have told her that one does NOT send a live animal in the mail.--Maybe someone should stuff her in a box without airholes and mail her. Can you imagine how petrified that poor puppy was?

What?? NO I have not, when? where? Never mind I'll look it up, but that is downright cruel, what was she thinking?

Apparently the Post Office needs to print a new rule book. But you can't blame them. Who knew somebody would be this dumb!

The woman caught should be ordered by the court to have a mental check up before she is jailed or convicted. This act of total neglect for the well being of a puppy is out of this world. This is not the doing of anybody who is in their right mind.

I didn't hear this story. I thought everyone knew animals couldn't be sent through the mail! I mean this is beyond dumb. I hope she is fined and maybe she should have to do some sort of community service work such as cleaning out the cages at kennels. Shoveling the remnants of other puppies might be a lesson learned...lol

I had not heard of this story but you are right. People need to start using common sence when it comes to everyday life. She might be right that the post office did not say what she could or couldnot ship but did she really think that the puppy was going to survive the plane ride with no food or water or something to keep warn with. Now if I were the judge I would not give the puppy back to her and arrest her for animal cruelty. People need to think before they do things.

Some people are just brainless idiots! What did she think the puppy was going to do? What was the poor thing going to eat and where was it going to pee? Not to mention the plane ride. What an idiot! It doesn't have to be on the list if she had half a brain to know better! UGH!! Some people I wonder how they made it as far as they did.

I cannot believe that she did it? Is she crazy or something? This is such abuse of an animal. It is horrible. I hope that she pays for this crime.Totally crazy

She is out of her mind... I have read a news that is similar to this case, a woman tried to bring a baby tiger with her to a flight in a suitcase, she put the tiger with a lot of stuff animal; when she was going through custom, the custom foudn something moves inside the suitcase then saved the tiger... jusdt can't believe really people out there to do these crazy things!

Stories like this really piss me off. I can't imagine how anyone can be so heartless, senseless and cruel. It's terrifying how easily common sense escapes some people. I'd lock her and anyone else that abuses - whether it's another human or creature for life.

that's plain stupid excuse from this woman, what the hell was she thinking?! wow, I can't believe what's this world coming to sometimes, really. I'm glad the puppy's ok and she's not getting it back, she obviously doesn't know how to take care of one for sure. Hopefully she gets some fine or something, cause that's sick.

This is just absurd! How could she have thought that sending a puppy through mail is okay? It just does not make sense. If she really wanted to give her son a puppy, she could have asked help from somebody who was near her son to buy him a puppy!

Hi. jillhill. This is really crazy! What appalled her to do such a silly thing? How could she have possibly gotten away with this anyway? And, I thought that packages like this should be sent to the post office in person, not through a regular route in the mail. I am sorry that her son was not able to receive his Birthday gift. She should have known better! She should have! She would have been better off in sending a Birthday card to him with some candy in it!

That is awful! I really can't stand someone who could do something so terrible to an animal! I really hope she gets a very severe punishment!

What someone will not think of! If you tried to send an animal through the mnail, how would you expect it to survive without any air or food or water until the animal arrived at its desintation? How could you be sure it would arrive there safely as well? It would be wiser to take the animal in person than to try to send it through the postal system.

I am very sad to know this,the woman is so stupid and hateful.She should get a publishment and learn how to treat with animals in order to avoid other things happening like this.
