There are lots of factors that cause us not to get a good sleep, but there are things to do too to make us sleep like a baby as they say. Sometimes it stress makes us not to have that good sleep. You can try to make yourself busy the whole day, have a regular exercise that makes your body wanted to relax the whole night. I'm sure if you are tired you can get that much needed sleep you need. And put a little music if that is alright with you.

Getting 5 - 6 hours sleep every night is normal for me. I go to bed at around 1.00 am and get up at around 7am. That is normal for me. If I go to bed at around 10pm, like you I will get up at around 2/3 am and cannot go back to sleep. I guess each body has a different time allocation for sleeping.

Hi Ren, I think you need to see a doctor about it.
This may not even be a sleep problem. It is likely to be a breathing problem.
That means when you stop breathing during your sleep, your body will wake you up, so that you can breath again.
Once you wake up, it is impossible to fall back into a deep sleep.
You need to see the doctor and check if something is wrong with your passage way or sleep posture or other reason.

It doesn't matter what i do or don't do when I fall asleep. i will will wake up in the middle of the night to find out it is 3 or 4 am. Then I go back to sleep and wait for the 5:30 alarm to ring.

Well i also had the same problem before so what i used to do was i used to drink up a whole bottle of milk. Don't ask me why i do that but it made me real sleepy and i wouldn't get up in the morning if i did so. I always have some milk if i am not getting enough sleep for myself. It helps me a lot also and most importantly is that it fills my stomach so i wouldn't have to eat anything more again!
Cheers!

I have learned about a new study that says the computer monitor depletes some levels of Seratonin in a person... This study says that drinking "Tart Cherry Juice" will naturally help replenish your Seratonin levels and allow you sleep better... You might try Googling "Tart Cherry Juice for Sleep"... Good Luck and sweet dreams my new friend...

my ex had the same problem as you.
in the end we manage to help him sleep without keep waking up.
there's reason why he keeps waking up.
he's pretty sensitive with lights, noise, and movement.
so we change the curtain to black.
we take out the clock in the bed room.
as for movement. i barely move when i'm asleep. so there's no problem in this part.
except that one time when i'm sick and i keep coughing.
poor him, he didnt sleep well.
you should figure out why you cant stay asleep.
knowing the problem, then solve it^^

I get days (or nights) like those. Even if I am physically or mentally tired, I would still wake up in the middle of the night. And then I would have trouble getting back to sleep.
But for me, it comes and goes. I would suffer through this a few nights, and then I'd be back to normal. A few weeks later, I would be at it again.
Also no clue how to remedy this.
