Awhile back I've had an experience with a friend in which I tried to be as honest as I can be with her, but in the end I offended her and she didn't talk to me for awhile...I've always been an honest friend to her and to everybody else I consider my friend but that incident makes me wonder if everyone of us has the power to read each other minds, then I guess there really would be less friendships in these world because I'm pretty sure a lot of you would agree with me when I say that even the closest buddies have major difference in opinion..

It's really hard to be honest, yet we have to be. When dealing with close friends, especially those who are sensitive, I try to couch my words if I know that the truth would affect them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Give your friend some time. She'll come around eventually. The important thing is you told her the truth.
And yes, we're lucky we still haven't discovered how to read people's minds for once we do, we'd lose a lot of our friends fast :)

That's exactly what the problem is, the being too sensitive issue, and of course you wouldn't want to hurt them but supposedly if you're any kind of friend you have to tell them no matter what! lols Anyways, sometimes I just end up not saying anything at all and just be the safe "quiet" friend...=)
