How do accept the existence of something you can't prove. I beleive in myself. I don't need a "higher power" to help me through my problems. I CARE for My loved ones and for myself, and do not wish to waste my time on something that can't be proven. Just look back in history, and see that religion was just a way to control people. Thats all.

Not at all. It is their opinion. God has ordered them to act like that.

No, I don't get offended as long as they aren't offended by me believing in God. God wants everyone to chose Him at their own free will, so it's a person's choice whether or not they want to be with Him. I only get offended when someone says I'm not a believer because I don't worship/pray/act like they think I should according to their beliefs.

I'm not offended by it at all. Each person has the right to believe in what they want. I had a very talented girl in my flute section in high school, and she doesn't believe in God. That doesn't make her any less of a person.
