family outfits at a wedding

My daughter is getting married in June. We have most things arranged now but my outfit. We looked on the internet just to see mother of the bride outfits and could not believe that the models modelling the outfits for mums to wear could not have been older than 20 - 25 years old. How can you judge by that how you would look and surely there are enough older models that could model for mum of the bride outfits.

Congratulations! I wish your daughter and her husband to be a lifetime of happiness together!
You are right, I have no idea why they use those models. They should get the average matron--a little gray, a few unwanted bumps and an average face. But they probably use those models in order to make the mothers feel young and more willing to buy the stuff.
