The big guest host of Wrestlemania 27.

On RAW, Mr. McMahon made his return and stated that there will be a big star hosting WRestlemania. Recently, the Rock stated that he's unlikely to ever return to wrestle a match but he does not rule out doing something with WWE in another capacity, even hinting that there could be something big coming soon. I think there might be a connection, the Rock might be the big star at Wrestlemania. What do you think?

Well there has been many speculations about who Mr Mahon is referring to. I have to say though I would be quite dissapointed to ehar if its someone like Triple H...I'm a fan of him, it would just not be a huge deal if it was him. I'm also really hoping they are not having the "anonymous" GM appear. I mena does anone even care anymore.
Other considerations are Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash. However they ahve alreayd made returns in different ways (Stone Cold hosting Tough Enough, Shawn Michaels for the Hall of Fame 2011 and Nash at the Rumble). Again we would ahve to ask ourselves would those names really be a big deal?
The rock definetly is someone who is very believable for the guest host as you mentioned he did say he could be returning to wwe in a non wrestling way sooner than we think. He would get a huge pop for sure. Can you jsut imagine the hype if it were him.
The only two other names I could really think of would be Ted Turner (Could you imagine that) or Paul Heyman. Again both considerable but would it happen.

I think the anonymous GM has dragged on far too long. I believe I made a comment months back where I said that they would drag this out past the point being interesting. Now they just used it as another way to make Michael Cole obnoxious. Not that he needs any help with something like that. Triple H, I think he'll be back by Mania but it will be against Sheamus.
Ted Turner, wow that would be interesting. I don't know the chances of it happening, but I'll tell you what. If there is one thing that could beat Bret Hart returning to WWE thirteen years after Montreal, it would be that. I do think that would be intriguing to say the least, perhaps as much so as the Rock, even though the roof would blow off the place if it was the Rock.

Yes it would be quite a surprise being Ted Turner, just thought I would throw it out there though. I mean Vince really put this guy (whoever the guest host of WM is) over, You would think for sure that it would be a huge name and not some letdown.

The Rock is indeed the special guest host for Wrestle Mania. He was unveiled at last week's RAW and he was spitting venom on everyone around the arena including John Cena. It would be interesting to see if he will just do commentary or whether he will come down to the ring for some action.

Yeah someone's going to get a Rock Bottom and the People's elbow for sure. Actually there are many suggestions that the Rock might referee the John Cena/Miz title match, which would be quite interesting. It does seem like a Rock/Cena match would be the hottest thing in wrestling in a while but while its not impossible, it doesn't appear to be happening any time soon. Still the Rock really did make most of the other roster look like they were so far and well beneath him. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well.
