I used to be shopping alone alone all the time unless my sister was with me. But since my baby was born, I take him out any places that I go. He is very small, so he usually just sleeps when I am out but he is a good company I like to walk through the toys section with him when he is awake, can't wait to buy him lots of toys. Very soon he will be saying I wnat ths and that before I know it! What about you?

I can really identify with you, haha~!We have a 8-month old & we like to do things together, like go everywhere together if possible, haha~!My wife was just mentioning the other day that she loves to be sitting in the car with our son & while I go around doing errands. I mean when my son wasn't born, the both of us usually go out running errands together, mostly by bike, sometimes using the car if we have bigger stuff to pick up or send. Now it's the car all the way, haha!~We just love doing stuff together

We are the same, my son and I usually just wait in the car if it is a little errand. Otherwise, we like to go together.

I do enjoy taking my son with me when I go do grocery shopping because for him it is like a treat!! His whole face lids up if I tell him we are going shopping!! I remember the times I walked through the toy shop and thinking when can I start buying him all this!! I try not to take him with me to the toy shop because he just want everything!! And I think it must be hard for a 3 year old to understand that he cannot have that big, walking, talking Buzz Lightyear!! Enjoy shopping with your baby!!

Hi, It is a blessed to have your kid to join you for your shopping, but since he is still small,so probably he will sleep throughout your shopping trip, but as he gets older, then he will be more alert and I don't think you can enjoy your shopping so much. For me, I will bring my son out for shopping sometimes, but not all the time. Some crowded places may not be suitable for him to go,so I have to wait till he fall asleep, then I will rush myself out for a quick shopping. Lately, I always bring my son to see toys, but he will only see and never request me to buy for him. As long as he saw all the toys display in the racks, then he will be satisfied enough.

From the time that both of my children were born, I've always liked taking them out. It was always so nice to know that I wasn't alone when I was away from the house. Now that they are bigger, I still do like to take them out, but sometimes it is more difficult than it used to be because they are constantly trying to get me to buy things that I wasn't planning on buying. It is so very hard to have to say no to your child.

I like to go out w/ my son, whether it is just a brisk walk around the village or strolling in the mall or plain eat out. I got this addiction of buying him new clothes, and toys (like you) when we were out. Regardless of price, even if it is cheap. I like to give him something new all the time. :)

I have my three year old and my 11 month-old kids with me and, yes, I love taking them with me anywhere I go. My 3-year old daughter is quite a handful when we are home but when she's out, she seems behave. We often hang out in the bookstore where we read books together (Well, i do the reading while she does the flipping of the pages):) Right now, it is difficult to do that because of her younger sister but still, we love to hang out together. Either shopping for stuff or just eating out, even this could mean a messy job for me.

Awwh how cute, your discussions are making me miss my children being little. Praise for you and your baby as those are the wonderful and blessed years. I remember the joy of my two little ones going here and there and enjoying going everywhere, I felt like a very proud mommy as they were so well behaved.

My daughter is three now and she goes almost everywhere with me. She is a great shopping buddy! I have taken her with me for a long time. I didn't take her a lot when she was just born as she was a preemie and I wanted her to get bigger first. At about six months though we were on the move. I have always talked to my daughter while we are out and some people would look at me like I had lost my mind. But she talks really well at three now and I am sure that is part of it. I can remember all the time I would have her in her carseat on the cart and she just loved looking at everything around her. Now she still likes to ride in the cart but when we get to the toy section I set her free. She loves to look at the toys and see if she can figure out what they do. She is just now getting to the age of asking for things now. Most of the time I make sure if we are going somewhere with toys we have time to look. I have gotten some strange looks in the toy department to because when it is time to go I tell her to put back whatever she is looking at and then we go, there are no fits being thrown or anything. Sometimes I get looks of disbelief. But she is a great window shopper. Sometime my husband tells me to leave her home but I really love having her go with me she is just so much fun to shop with and it is fun to talk to her now. I get less strange looks now and more I hear people laughing as we go by as she can ask some funny questions sometimes.
