How many times have you crash your computer or have you ever?

I've crashed a computer twice. One of them was my own, and the other one was.....yours. It's fun, isn't it? Yeah, right! It's absolute agony when you realize you've made a terrible mistake...especially when you finally discover, that after all you can think of to reverse what you've so foolishly done, you have no clue or idea on how to fix the problem. You can pull your hair out, if you know what I mean? Sometimes a system recovery can do the trick...but when you've inadvertently formatted any one of your computer's operating system's, systems files...then you know you're sunk. Hey, you know the Sagittarian motto..."just can't leave anything alone"...Sorry babe...however, I still like your first crash better than mine. Well when you think about it, at least we can say we both learned something. Yup. DON'T...DO...T H A T...AGAIN !!! Glad to see you're back up and running sweetie. My apologies; cdrxo ;-D

I have never crashed a computer..Knock on wood! I am sure my turn is coming. I have Vista on my laptop and it's different alright!

Wow crazydaisy, that's certainly a lot of crashes. I don't know your situation but I think there are some golden rules which I always follow. I make sure that I check the minimum system requirements of any software that I install as if you accidentally install the wrong software that is not compatible, this can cause a number of different problems which includes the computer not being able to boot, hence a crash so to speak! Once upon a time I had no knowledge of computers whatsoever but then I decided to go on a computer maintenance and installation course and now I enjoy helping others out and I do all my own maintenance and I've never experienced my computer crashing. Anyway, vista isn't that bad, it's what I use, I haven't upgraded to windows 7 yet although I am in the process of building a pc and I will be putting windows 7 on that. Anyway, I'm sure that things will work out for you given time! Good luck. Andrew
