grab or slice

Since it's a finger food, i eat pizza the traditional way. I feel awkward though when a friend treated me over a plate of pizza years ago when i went on travel and we were give a fork. I don't remember using it though. Pizza has been my favorite Italian dish but I missed it for quite sometime now since I just recently underwent an appendectomy surgery. Now that you mentioned about it, i'm drooling :P

I usually use a fork and a knife because it make's it easier for me to eat,rather then trying to bite it off the slice.because I have dental issues that cause that problem.

Hi. doggydimon. I prefer to eat my pizza by my hand. I have been known to eat my pizza by a fork when it is very hot and smoky. I don't like when my hands get all saucy. I like to eat my pizza by fork when it gets like this.

Hello doggydimon! I eat pizza with my hands. I don't want to use fork and knife because eating pizza with them looks silly. I love to eat at Pizza Hut. They put knives and forks on the tables but they're just there because it's how restaurants are. Another reason why I don't like eating pizza with fork and knife is because the Italians invented the pizza in such a way that it was eaten with bare hands and not with utensils! And eating it the "sosyal" way (with the fork and knife) is kind of like disrespecting the Italians. Also, if you're not Italian and you ate pizza in Italy with fork and knife, they (the Italians) will laugh at you haha!

I love pizza especially if it is hot! i usually take it by hand. it just gives me the feeling of being a kid all over again...i get sauce and cheese all over my hand afterwards but it just makes the pizza better! but there are times that i did use a fork and knife while eating pizza. it was probably because it had so much toppings on it and they kind of fell down when i ate it by hand. But i'd still vote the same, piZZa by hand, yum!!!

When I'm at home, I eat pizza in a traditional manner specially when you're eating eat while watching tv. Of course when we are eating in a pizza house, well most of them would serve like a regular resto with plates, fork and knife, so better use it. It's not also nice to eat by hand when eating outside the house.

I like to eat my pizza with hands, I think pizza is finger food.

I cut the pizzas in slices (as I make them myself so they are not precut). Then I eat it with my hand. I don´t mind cleaning up my fingers a bit by licking them before I get up to wash my hands in the bathroom Have a nice day, friend!

I think pizza is a finger food, so it is ok to eat it with hands. However, here in my country, Philippines, they serve it as if you are eating in a fine dine resto., complte with fork and knife. I don't know where these pizza parlors get that idea but maybe because sometimes it is messy to eat pizza especially if it has a lot of toppings (which I prefer) and it is ok to cut it in small bite sizes. But, of course, I prefer using my hands. Hmmm... especially if it is finger lickin' good.

Sometimes, I use fork and knife but I must say that eating it the traditional way is way better. The thing is, with fork and knife, I get to eat just the right amount of pizza, but with grabbing way, I tend to eat a lot more. It usually depends on my mood if I'm too hungry or not.

I like to eat my pizza by hand. I don't like to use any fork or knife because it's harder to use them. It's better for me if I grab it and eat it with a plate on the table.

I think it depends on the situation where you are eating pizza. If it's inside the restaurant, then just follow the "fork & knife" thing, but if it's with friends or picnic, I prefer to grab it and enjoy the yummy taste..love it!

Haha! Well, I eat pizzas using my hands when we are at home. But since yes they do give us a fork and knife in pizza parlors, I utilize those. But sometimes, it really depends when our order has a lot of toppings and using your hands would mean lots of toppings going to the floor, i tend to do it the other way :)

for me it depends really. when im having pizza with my friends i just go ahead and grab a slice. all i need is a napkin and a glass of soda and i'm all good. but i sure do love a hefty slice of them deep dish pizzas. i'd definitely use my knife and fork for that.

I actually do both. Sometimes the pizza is to big to pick it up to eat and then i will use a fork and a knife to eat it. Most of the time the pizza is in small pieces and i can just pick it up and eat it then. I also have other prefrences when using a knife and fork as well. If the pizza is thin i eat it with a fork and a knife and if it is puffy pizza (my words) i will pick it up and eat it. I know im weird put its how i eat and then again its pizza.
