Credit cards can be quite useful. Not only for organizing one's finances, but also in case of emergency. If one puts all payments like rent, utilities, and food on a credit card. Payment is convenient. One uses the card and one pays the balance in full at the end of the month when one is reconciliating one's finance. But if you have no control, then credit cards can become a curse. It is easy to spend money you don't have. If you don't budget, you will find yourself in debt that will be difficult to settle. I once got a credit card and the first thing I did was break it in. Of course it was something I did not need. I took a friend and his wife to dinner. Cost almost 200 dollars. I knew right there and then that credit cards were not for me. I paid off the card then ripped it up.
