Of Butterflies, Myths and Lores

Everyone at the office is quite entranced by our visitor. Decked in its finest brown hue, this huge, beautiful butterfly has flitted from the office of our boss, to the cubicle to my left, to my cubicle and then to the cubicle to my right. There are mixed reactions among us. Why? It is a common myth when the dead people visit the living, they take up various forms, the most popular here of which is the butterfly. I do not myself believe in the staff, but I'm baffled at the reaction of the people here - professionals all, who are wondering whose spirit inhabits this butterfly, and which one of us it is visiting. What are your thoughts on these? Do you have similar myths like this where you come from?
