I hate to admit it but I just hate Valentine's Day!

you know when I was working there was the few girls who kept getting flowers and chocolates sent to the work place for them..after a couple of years I told them how lucky they are and I was surprised at what they said...one said her boyfriend wouldn't have the courage not to send her something, one of the others said she simply told her man to send some...I think in all it is really a woman thing and guys just go along with it..Mind you Valentines Day is not a big thing in Australia...

You're still very young...just be patient. The right guy will come along soon enough. I've never been much in to Valentine's Day. When I was younger, I use to get flowers, candy, cards, jewelry...and while I appreciated it, if I hadn't gotten anything, I don't think it would have bothered me that much. This VD I'm probably going to spend with a married couple at the casino...it's their 38th wedding anniversary. So obviously they think VD is special...

you can lock up your body inside room ,but need to open our mind out of room,In our life ,Not everything will be smooth according our requirements. Valentine's day is just a day,which remind married people don't forget each other ,wish more young lovers can hold hand. Enjoy our life,relax every day

Valentine's Day isn't just for couples, you know. You can celebrate it with your friends or your family. And don't worry, it's not pathetic at all. LoL I'm 23 now and never had the chance to celebrate it with someone special for I've been living a single life since birth but it didn't stop me from always being excited every time 14th of Feb comes. Haha I know how you feel. I sometimes feel the same but I just let the feeling pass. Once there was a time when Valentine's day used to be a big deal for me. But since I got my heart broken, I have no interest at all. I don't love neither hate Valentine's day. For me, it's just a day.

Wow that is so surprising that you havent had a lover to share Valentines day with in 22 years. That would be sad. Since I was 17 I've had someone to share Valentines day with. My ex and I split up last year so that was the first Valentines day I spent alone. This year my friend is taking me out somewhere. We arent in a relationship but it will be nice to get out that day and do something special with someone.

hi instead of having another pity party sol find someone who is lonely and give him or her a valentine from your heart. you are not the only one who maybe hating this holiday. me I am a widow but I cannot hate it as I had 33 years of loving marriage so my memories are happy ones. you need to try to find others who are lonely without partners and somewhere in this you will find the one whom God has chosen for you just like I did. maybe he is even working where you work.Jealousy will just make you ill and go out and find him as he is close somewhere. just look and smile and put on a happy face.

You know what I was looking for Valentine's Day cards yesterday at the store, you said exactly what the card said on the front cover - I hate to admit it but I just hate Valentine's Day! then the inside says something funny, I don't remember what it was though. I understand what you are feeling exactly but beat mine I've been at it for 25 years lol. I sometimes roll my eyes when I see these things but I guess that's normal for people like us? haha. What I dread most about this day is when someone just bluntly asks why I don't have a date. =_=

I'm married so Valentine's day is not something that I look forward to, well, I didn't look forward to it when I was still single either. I don't really find anything especial on Valentine's except that it's an excuse for men to get what they want, if you know what i mean, don't apply to all of course. It's just all hype and a business strategy.

You don't have to do that. Be with your single friends on that day and enjoy the occasions. Consider them your lovers.

I dont hate the valentine day but i have no such importance of this day, i believe love with full heart and emotions with no bound in only one days, feelings can be expressed any day and this is the real joy of relation and life.

Absolutely,Valentine’s Day is a very romantic festival.I can understand you,because i have the same feeling with you. Valentine's Day means nothing for me ,it is just a day as usual.

Why not be the one to ask somebody out on Valentine's Day? Or, if that's too forward for you, hook up with other friends who are dateless on Valentines.
