rude boss or superivisor

iwas working at nursing home (90 bed) for almost 2years as dietary aide in 2009 my boss humiliated me infront of my coworkers by yelling at me iwas shocked and surprise me lucky i didn't yell back at him so i hold it back I emailed him that I QUIT! good bye i said what kind of supervisor he is also he has no respect for me including my coworker

hi, from your name I can see that you are Filipino (correct me if I am wrong), anyway I can also see that you work in one of the freest country or society in the world and I presume they have laws there on verbal abuse, what was the comment about? Was it like racist? What exactly did you do to trigger a response like that from your superior. I firmly believe that quitting the job right away was a mistake, maybe you should have stood for your rights if you really felt that you were the aggrieved party, maybe you could have gotten compensation and retained your job. Maybe both of you could have fixed it between yourselves. Anyway I do not know the details, good luck to you pal and I wish you the best in where you are
