my wife has a friend who was supposedly giving birth this month arounf thrid week. i was shocked to hear from her that her friend gave birth january around last week. sorry i can not remember the date. but the story was the reason behind why she gave birth early. husband got home drunk and beat her. i dont get that. why do guys drink and do that. i am a guy too but i dont drink so i just dont get things that happens like this. if you are in a war freak mode better not drink or else this will happen. so she gave birth early Csection and all her husband can say was i am sorry. it is already absurd to hit a woman, a lady, a girl, then to hit a pregnant woman... i dont know what to say and i can not imagine this has happened to someone i know.

I feel sorry for the woman, what a wrong thing to do for a husband to his wife.. such doing could not be easily forgiven. I am sure the child born may suffer certain problem because he/she was not fully develop. The husband should find a way to assist his wife and be a good father to his child.

i just hope that was the first and last beating, if he is a man enough then he should feel sorry and make sure he will never drink again, specially that he is violent when he is drunk. things like this is hard, and the only thing the wife needs to do is to make sure that the husband will not do this again. she needs to give an ultimatum. thanks a lot for the response

That's awful... I hope his wife was okay and the baby was safely born... Drunkness can really get people crazy but either way, there is no excuse to hit your wife and she is pregnant no less... I wish he reflect himself and spend the time with his wife and the baby in the future and get rid of drinking! Otherwise, who knows what he will do next time, throw away the baby?

the baby was safely born Thank God. now the guy was very sorry of what he did for the wife told him that she has a very good story to tell their daughter when she grows up and ask how she was born. i hope this wont happen again. i dont know why drinking can trigger something like this for i dont drink... but this is up to the husband if he will be drinking again or not. i just hope if he drinks he knows his limits. thanks a lot for the response.

He is an evil.To drink and then beat pregnant wife is not the work of a sane person.It is a sorry state of affairs for the pregnant wife that in spite of getting mental and physical support she was being tortured and that led to her early delivery.
I feel sorry for the baby also whose father is a devil and if his drinking does not stop then the little baby has to bear the brunt also.

true, thats what i told my wife this cycle does not stop unless he goes to counceling. if driking too much will lead him to beating then he needs to have control over dringking. but sometimes us human can not control things even we know will lead to something bad. i just hope this is the first and the last for if this happen again i thnk the wife is insane than the husband if she will not leave. thanks a lot for the response.

Wow that is completely ridiculous. Many guys when they drink get aggressive but to do this is indeed like you said 'absurd'.

Sorry to hear about this.. Hopefully her and the baby are doing well. I also hope that she is strong enough to leave this man. It will never stop its not something that they can just switch off after it has started. I am not sure why they do this either. Its a bad thing to experience for this lady and if she doesnt leave him it will be bad for the child and the cycle will continue.

What a sad story and I read it on Valentine's Day too which is supposed to be a day about love. There is much stress and sadness in the world. I am glad to hear that the baby was born healthy.
