Any other means to make money in MyLOT besides doing Task?

I am already earning by doing tasks but I would like to if you guys are already earning by participating in discussions? IF so, when do we get paid? I have been responding to discussions and I am not yet paid..? Any ideas contributed will be appreciated. Thank you.
