New to trying to earn $ through the internet

I am new to this "trying to earn money on the internet" think. I have read a few things on mylot discussions that seem to say there are a lot of these sites. I never knew there were legitimate sites that do this. The main reason I am posting, is to try to get a discussion going on what this site is about, and how to use it. I dont know much aboutit but am very curious. If there is anyone willing to share detailed info on how this site works and what the purpose of this site is, I would greatly appreciate it.
