Russian City bans celebration of Valentine's Day!

While visiting my twitter page a friend retweeted this, and I was like hahaha! Finally someone agrees with me!! (no offense to lovers!Peace!) You see i think if you love someone wholeheartedly you do not need to splurge all your money and love in one day and then the next day your back to your insensitive and uncaring self....I think telling your boyfriend or girlfriend that you love and care him or her. I think thats enough....What are your opinions....

Banning it does seem a little drastic, but I sort of agree with the sentiment. Valentines Day seems to have been hijacked by the greetings card industry and I've heard of people buying expensive gifts for all their family and friends. It all seems a little excessive for me.

Why did that Russian City do that? They seemed to killjoys.
