The most important skill for success is to have people on your side. One can get a lot of work done by superiority and hierarchy but one cannot be a leader of men unless one maintains excellent human relations. Its Importance not only in professional life but personal life too. Knowledge and expertise does no good if one cannot maitains proper human relations.

Yes this is correct. If you know a lot of people there will be a lot of people helping you also. It only depends on what help they can provide.

I agree, you can have all the knowledge in the world but if you can not lead you truely have failed. However, you need to have common-sense also. If you can't apply all your knowledge to what you are doing you are useless.

Well, maybe that is why there is the code of ethics to remind every one who needs it.

I would rather say that one can succeed because of human relations but the latter doesn't prevail in all situations. If you happen to know the Theories of Multiple Intelligences by Dr. Howard Gardner, you will encounter that human relations (or interpersonal) is an intelligence among those people who are sociable and love the company of people. They are extroverts and are characterized by their sensitivity to others' moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations, as well as their ability to cooperate in order to work as part of the group. Human relations or interpersonal is just one of the nine intelligences mentioned in Dr. Gardner's theory. Please take note, too that a normal being can have at least three of the following intelligences: a. spatial b. linguistic c. logical-mathematical d. bodily kinesthetic e. musical f. interpersonal g. intrapersonal h. naturalistic i. existential Being intelligences, they suggest that anyone on earth can succeed if he uses his intelligences to their fullest and most applicable way and purpose not necessarily human relations or interpersonal only.
