Do you wash your own car or pay someone else to do it?

I rarely go to the car wash to have my car cleaned. I'm not usually satisfied with the result. Sometimes they miss cleaning some areas especially the inside corners. And I'm not sure if their wash cloths are free from any dirt particles that may scratch your car. There are good ones but they charge more. I'm probably an obsessive-compulsive person. I don't like it when I see uncleaned parts of my car after it's been washed. Are you still the one cleaning your own car?

i often go to the car wash to have my car cleaned and satisfied weth the result. Of course i did meet the same problem like you guys did. I can requir the clerk to do each corner and wash it cleaned. . If you go to a place regularly, they will remember you and they will clean you car followed your requirment.

I had my driver who used to clean my car and sometimes when we go for some long trips and are back and have a day off i will clean the car myself and get it ready for the next and its once in few months that we give it out for a wash and that is with the service center so i guess they get the cleaning done properly.

Washing the car is something I no longer have the energy for as I am too ill and car washes do not exist in our little rural town so the car goes dirty. When I was younger I washed the car myself all the time, why pay for something you can have for free.
It is not something I have thought about for a while. When we moved here the town was in severe drought and it was illegal to use water to wash the car or the house windows. Now the drought has broken so I will have to see if I can find the energy to wash it. At least I could hose it. I certainly would prefer a clean car even if it did not last long. It would be dusty again within a few hours.

I guess it does consume a significant amount of water when you do your own washing. Unless you have those pressurized water hoses that they use in car washes. But I know how you feel. When I'm out of town for a few days and that town has lots of dusty roads, I don't clean my car. I mean, what's the point. The minute I'm on the road, the car gets dusty immediately.

We wash our own car. We wash and wax them on our own, I don't think it is necessary to pay for somebody to wash your car; we have space; we have tools, we can do a good job. I don't particularly mind the soaping part but I hate the waxing part...

There is this carwash place not far from my house where i can wash the outside of my car for 3.99 and then you get to use the vacumns and cleaning supplies they offer all for just 3.99 but when im in my car going through the carwash i will start cleaning the inside of my car with my own products because that is the easiest way and you dont have to spend alot of tim ehter when doing it this way and sometimes while im in my car and at a redlight i will start cleaning my windows and the inside of my car as it will need it. The best way on keep my car cleaned without spending alot of time on it.

Just like you, I don't like missed spots on freshly cleaned things so i usually clean my car myself. What's the point paying money for someone else to wash my car and not even get a decent job done? I'd much rather save myself the aggravation and money and just do it myself. That way any concerns I have will all me on myself and the job i do. They say "if you want things done right, do them yourself".
