is it possible to get a tax id if u don't have social security number? Im an international student in U.S.since i will b here only for one year, my university officials said that i dont have to apply one..but i need it for my ehow a/c, paypal n clickbank. please advice.thanks

thank you so much for your response. I visited the site. It seems very complicated to apply one. Just wondering, what happen if you don't pay tax in the US?
