No. Hubby would say he wished I would. But in reality he hates it when I am quiet. Of course, I am only quiet when I am angry with him or sick. So no wonder he hates t.

Yes, it's possible. Ask hikikomori. For my personal experience, it's possible to stay more than 5/6 days withouth saying anything.

In our ritual, there comes a day when we cant speak any word. Its called Silence day. So its mandatory for me. I can do it.......

I think it is very difficult to spend a day without employing the mouth. However I have came across many sanyasis(ascetics) in India, who indeed spend not one or two day rather several days, months or years without speaking. Clearly this is an endeavor which many are not capable of. I think it is possible only through lot of self-control and discipline. However not going to that extreme I still think that we should speak meaning or humorous. But should avoid unnecessary abuse etc. There is a very well know saying in Hindu Scriptures --- ????? ???????? ?????? ???????? | ? ???????? ?????? ??????? ? It means that speak good, speak truth. Neither speak false nor that which is not soothing
