Have you ever been stood up by a friend?

Have you ever experienced this feeling? I have experienced it just recently and it was not a very good feeling. We were supposed to meet up on a mall which is actually 2 hours worth of travel. I usually don't go to these things but decided I should since I haven't seen most of my old friends for a while. So I went there and after the long travel I messaged them wondering where they are and I receive a text from one of them that it was canceled. The other friends I'm supposed to meet do not reply to my countless text so I text my other friend who was not supposed to come and told me she knew that it was cancelled. I felt kind of betrayed and taken for granted realizing everyone else knew that the meet up was canceled except me! If this happened to you what would you do and how would you feel?

yeah i have been stood up by some of my friends,.. but honestly i wouldnt consider them as my best friend or anything like thatt..but i think its hurtful when they do it, cuz i bet the would be either pissed or upset if you did something back at them.... but yeah, i felt upset/a little frustrated/betrayed/and just felt like they didnt care at all

You know what I think we went into the same kind of the situation. They are not my best buds too but that moment hurt me too. It's like they didn't really care at all about our feelings. Do you still go out with them?

Good for you. There are times that kind of things happen too me too but that's ok since if something does not push through at least you were informed if ever the meet up was canceled.
