I'm Christian, but not a man of faith...and to answer whether God I'm worshiping is a fair God or not. This is very hard question, and although I am no good reason for my answer I am going to say whether 'GOD IS FAIR....'
Well-
Everything he has done, everything He is just Right and Just, no doubt about it. God has been just since the beginning of the creation. He has given us everything we ever want, more He was has given 'FREE CHOICE' or FREEDOM of Choice. To me this reveals a lot about the questions.
Freedom of choice, as in whether we choose to go about His way or the other...either this Freedom is used...so I think people must be wise enough to fathom this...
So as a consequences, You will come to know about whether God is Fair God or not!
Sorry this doesn't really speak to you, but it does to me

I'm glad you are at least enlightened, I hope you find more revelations in this context.
And speaking about Children suffering in Africa, I hope God have reasons or purposes. And yes my 'Freedom of Choice' speaks nothing in this question, maybe it does. I am sorry to
disappoint I am not able to answers this question.

Brilliant answer might be yours. How do you know if it speaks or not to me? You might be wrong saying so. Anyways, I was a little bit enlightened with your responce. But if God is really fair aside from freedom that you've said, why did He permitted children in Africa suffer than most of the people in the world and is it that there are rich and poor?

Thanks Mathew for the info. By history of their human races they come out to that end of slavery, poverty, sickness and other curses, right? Wow! Now I understand. But then why God had a chosen people if He is really fair or just?

Our life is the best proof that we are created by an absolute God that is not unjust... and never will be in anyway and anytime. He trusted us a place He created for a living with so much resources. God is good all the time. It's just the people who is sometimes or many times is unjust...
Hope you'll appreciate my answer friend... well, thanks.

Very well said Lhenni! I never intent to argue. I just want an enlightenment for some valid reasons that we could imagine. I know you pipol can help educate if not convinced a man who's hunger for reality or truth. I know He created us and gave us a life, but what kind of life? Why we should suffer more while others were, are and will not? How can life be a proof if someone has only one legs, while others can play tennis well? How can I benefit the resources of the Royal family? How can be God is good if someones house was accidentally burned into ashes?

The God that I am worshiping is fair to all of his men. He is fair to all of us, there is no instance that he is not fair. He his own way of showing to all his fairness but I know He is fair to all of us.

Blessed are those who believe in God through faith. Because of faith I believe Him even if I have not seen Him nor I have any proof of Him.

We should be sure if we have the reason to fill in. It's just knowing your loveone. How can you believe without a froof? It might be a myth if we could not defend what we believe.

Hello Ada? I understand what you mean by saying faith. Of course it is the opposite of "to see is to believe". But what we are scutinizing here is that how will we show to the world or even to a person Gods FAIRNESS. Do you know your God if who he is? Do you know how much he cares for you? Do you know how to worship him? Do you know how he became fair to everyone? Do you know how to defend Him against the so-called persecutors? If none of these you know, but your answer is only "faith" then what differs you from the those hypocrites, right? They have faith also...I might be shameful to my God if none of these questions could I answer or never the less certain. I'm sure you're blessed because of your faith, but...

Sure God is just... at least as a matter of my personal faith. Sure natural disasters and evil people have taken their toll on innocents, but no account has been settled yet! For now we are invited to to trust, because we're certainly not seeing it now. Those who aren't so trusting could have a 'bill to pay' for not making better choices. But I really believe that He will show us that He really is just - and generous - when all is said and done.

Yeah, consequences... I'm just saying that too many of us want justice not just now... or now!... but frequently NOW!!!!. And God doesn't work on that time table at all. I'm suggesting that maybe none of us will get justice for all of the junk we've experienced (or caused) in the next 200 years. But God will repay - just not on our time table :).

Wait, wait. I remember the seminar of "global warming, isn't it familiar to you? Well, that would I think will answer some of the questions here. I mistakenly say that these disasters happening nowadays isn't man made. It is! All of thse are the result our carelessness. You are correct then... "Men deserves to pay the bills". I hope this is what you mean too...

Bill to pay? You mean consequences, right? You have great idea that I could absorb, but speaking of natural disaster is not at all man made, isn't it? Then does it shows fairness when your house built for 10 years completion was only strucked by a turnado in just a few minutes? How can you justify this? Does that person deserve to pay the bills of others?

The issue raised whether God is fair or unfair cannot be answered with finality as all responses are mere human explanations solely anchored on human being's conceptual understanding of his or her experiences (or it could be on the basis of faith). Any God talk is metaphorical which approximates (more or less) who or what God is. Human language can never capture God's true nature or being.
As a christian, I believe God is fair and He cannot be unfair at any given moment. God being the source of all goodness, cannot go against Himself; He cannot betray His own nature. The innumerable occurrences of deaths, calamities, starvation, violence, brutalities, diseases in the world cannot rightly be attributed to God as the ONE who directly willed all these to befall upon mankind with a happy feeling. There could be multiple underlying reasons why they happen only God knows.
