Today i played slots in casino with my sister and i won 120€. I'm not addicted but i do play from time to time and no i'm not rich. Sure i'm happy but the problem is that there is never enough money. I know money will go for two refuels. If i won that much when i was younger i'd buy a rc car and one bag of sweets and would be extremely happy but now it's different. There's this rapper in our city that has a song and there's a verse saying that life is like a slot machine...you have to put something in to win (actually rimes in our language and English). I agree with the statement. But i ask you myloters...is there a sum that would make you happy and what do you thing about the verse and gambling? Some people literally wouldn't spend a dime in casino...are you one of them?

WoW!
Congrats! I have been once or twice to casino, but have not even won a penny. My friend who is also a marine engineer has won many times, but he has lost fortune on gambling. He is a compulsive gambler and is addicted to casinos. It is good that you aren't addicted to casinos.

Hi
No. thankfully i haven't lost much, few dollars maybe. But I am not addicted to gambling and the few dollars that i lost were just for trying out casino for first time.

Have you lost a penny? It's just crazy when you're addicted...i always see the same people in casino just inserting 100€ notes and than complaining about how close they were but they can't stop. And than they win and you think wow they won but in fact they lost much more than they won. No wonder there are free meals and drinks in casinos. Thanks for your contribution to discussion, have a great day.

hi slovenc1 the sum that would make me happy is to win the publishers clearing house sweepstakes for ten million. but if I won several thousand that too would make it really happy.you see I want out of this tiresome retirement center. but I cannot move out unless my son gets a really great job and we somehow amass the first and last months rent and the deposit fee so we are stuck where we are. odds pf my winning that sweepstakes is probably one in a billion but it costs nothing to enter and is fun to think what I would do if I did win it.dreams are fun as long as you know they are just dreams.[em]thu[em]thumbup

I once lost 300€. I was at +300 and wanted to go out but my friend was in minus and wanted to stay so i said i'll play a bit more. Than i started betting on black and the ball hit black at least 15 times in a row so in rush i ended up spending 300€ out of my pocket after reaching zero credits. I know how you feel but since than i decided to never spend more than 20€ per one visit. You should do the same, limit your budget. Anyway thanks for sharing and good luck tonight

it's true, definitely, in life, you really have to put something in first before you win anything. it applies in all aspects. you have to work hard to get your salary. you have to invest in order to profit. same goes in all relationships. i would be a hypocrite if i say that i am contented with my life right now. i mean yes, i have money, career, a wonderful family and endearing friends. but i think it's just human to want more, in terms of material things (aka money). who doesn't want extra money right? i know it's wrong to base happiness on money, but im not saying im like that. i just think that having money to spend makes the world a little brighter, dont you think? but there's no certain amount that would make me happy. just a little more extra to allow me to indulge once in a while in materialistic happiness. =)

I totally agree with you. Money isn't everything but it can improve your life drastically. A lot of things are easier when you have money. It's a bit stupid to ask what's the amount that would make you happy because one million would but so would one million and one dollar. I can't complain about my life either i have girlfriend and a car at 21 but people always want more. But if you think about it the waiting and wishing and expecting something is actually sweeter than getting everything you want because when we are older we also get bored quicker i think. Thank you for your comment Good luck to you

Casinos, online and offline, are a fun way to win some money, but most of the times you have to face it... You loose. The system is made for the profit to be on the side of the Casinos. But luck exists and can be on your side sometimes.
One super important thing is to have control on what you do, and control means a strict rule of knowing how much you want (and can) spend on a session.
Some people take the money bill in the pocket, don't even take their wallets to spend only that exact amount of money, either win or loose.
Anoter tip can be if you win something on the slots at the first spins, cash it out, take what you bet inicially and then bet at your will with the money you already won, keep yours always safe.
Discipline overall. Have fun.

I used the second tip today and after five minutes i got 120 from 10€ so i cashed out. Then i put another 10 in and cashed out at 40 and than just played a few more rounds. My limit is set to 20€ and i do stick with it but lately this slot machine tempts me because there's over 9000€ in it and would be nice...hehe At first i had no discipline and nerves but i know how it goes. Another tip would be...convince your self you came in casino to spend money and you will loose. If you win like i did today deal with it than Thanks for your tips, they already help me and might help others as well

When I won money in the casino the first time , I got really excited as well. I just put in a 20 dollars into the slot machine, I had no idea of how to bet on hte lines and stuff, I just hit the bet randomly then I won $50, I couldn't believe it. But people always say you have luck when gambling fierst time.

I also had luck the first time...i found 20€ on the ground even before i entered casino (no bull s**t) and i earned 100 inside. Then the next time 80. But the third time...disaster. I made 300+ from 5 on roulette and wanted to go out but friend was at -100 and wanted to stay. So i played and i bet 10€ per round on black and it was red so the next time i bet twice as much trying to earn back. But it was unreal because the ball landed on red at least 15 times in a row which must have been arranged...you can never flip a coin and get the same side in my opinion. I ended up pulling money out of my pocket trying to substitute the loss and in the end i spent 300€ in a rush. But i learned my lesson and know that i'll never do something like that again. It does feel great to win tho and it's not impossible if you have a lucky day and that's what motivates you to try again. Thank you for your comment, sometimes you win more if you don't have a clue Beginners luck

Congratulations slovenc1. I have not played in a casino since 2007. My first "money machine" was pushing some pennies in a pier at Blackpool. It was not a casino, but I was only 12. I am not a real gambler : I go in casinos only in holidays with friends and plays small sums. I am scratching a few tickets in gambling sites online, but I don't invest a cent -- they must have a free ticket to be legal here --, and I am always pleased when I earn 5. I have never won an important sum in a casino, and I would have been happy with these 120 Euros

I also play small sums and for fun because i hope for a big win but expect to loose. I haven't been in a casino for a year but than my sister turned 18 and wanted to go (legal age in our country). It sure is nice to have fun and earn at the same time and for many people 120€ is a fortune and i'm happy too but i think nobody would complain if they won a lottery or something. Appreciate your comment and nice to talk to you again after a while. I was mylot lazy Have a great day!

I also usually don't have luck but that might also be so because i get greedy and by playing roulette it's hard to earn but slots are just luck. Am not addicted and won't be because i'd already be in these 3 years since i started to occasionally go to casinos. Good to hear you're addicted to mylot because you can't loose money here just slowly earn it.
