Family Dog or Not?

I have a amazingly strong 7 1/2 week old male AKC/Pedigree and when I told friends I was getting one well the response was less that happy. It amazes me how many people state they are aggressive and mean breed of dog. One person even stated why don't you get a pit bull. I happen to love those as well. My response was and is this anytime you are looking to add to your family be sure they will be a good fit for your home, yard and family. I think these animals are loving, funny(personality), protectors(so am I). I think that this was the best fit for my family. The added benefit of having another protector in the house is great...
