I just feel so angry right now, I'm practically breathing fire!!! I don't know if this accounting lady has a personal vendetta against me or she's just way over due for retirement, last month she forgot to put my salary to my account, saying that she thought I was on leave, and then she does it again now...
I don't even have time for myLot these days for I'm so busy at school with all the activities that would come up since March is fast approaching, and with all the stress I go through I have to go through this???
Am I overreacting??? the gall, she said that word when I called the accounting department earlier...overreacting? who wouldn't?? I have to pay bills and my siblings tuition!!!
I'm so livid, I think I have to take another shower!!!!

I don't blame you for being angry. I think the reason this woman chose the word 'over reacting' was her ditch attempt to defend herself. If it happens again I would go to her superior. Over reacting. Let her see over reacting. How dare she put if off on you. As if it were you doing the negative thing here and not her taking responsibility for her actions. And if she is close to retirement then there probably won't be anything happen to her. How irritating. I would be livid too and I have an Irish temper. I hope this gets fixed QUICK!!

I think you should actually do it this time but I applaude your patience with her. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Your are not overreacting. I would be furious. I understand being busy with school. I am in college right now. Trying to keep up with all the reading, tests, studying, papers is a lot to take on. Plus I have to clean and we all need time to relax at least every now and then.
Have you ever thought about getting another accounting lady? I would think that she would definately not make the same mistake again! It is her job to do thias accounting and not make mistakes. I think mistakes in accounting is a big deal because it can affect someones life a great deal.

yeah, but I don't have time to deal with her, I might file a complaint though, but I'm too caught up in my responsibilities as of now, especially when I have to assess the children well to make sure if they are ready for primary school..

Heads would roll and Hell would pay if I would not get my salary on time either. I don't know how your accounting department works, but they should have a record of who is on leave and who is currently on active file. You could try to raise this concern with your manager since this is the second time that this has happened. Good luck.

Hi Marapplestiffy,
I don't think you are over reacting at all. I would be destroyed if I did not get my pay on time. I've been shorted on overtime a couple of times and that I could live with. My boss just corrected it the following week. But forgetting my whole salary??? I would not be happy. Still, where I work, I 'm sure that it would have been fixed right then and there so I wouldn't get too worked up. How long did you have to wait to have the problem fixed?

I don’t think you are overreacting at all! I would be furious too if my salary didn’t go into my account when it was due. How on earth does she expect you to pay your bills? I would go and see her and demand she deposit my salary immediately and explain to her that this is the second time this has happened and this occurs again you will lodge a complaint against her.

I would get angry, too if that happened to me. My bills are timed to coincide with my salary so that delays in the salary means delay in the bills. Maybe you should have a talk with her personally as she has done it a second time. If she does it again, I think it's about time to report it to your superior or to hers.

Overreacting?.. Hell no, boy you can delay an appointment but not the salary.. lol. Monthly salary is definitely is something we depend on to pay our bills, buy food and a whole lot more. So if this negligence happens for a second time around. I guess it's the perfect time for you to pay her a visit on her office. And demand for an explanation. When you're doing that try to be calm, and tell her that she's not only affecting your bills due date but the needs of other people too. You just need to have a little talk with her to sort things out.
Hope it will be ok next time.. Give us a heads up.. lol

I think you should put into writing a formal complaint about the oversights. By this, she could be sanctioned for not doing her job well. I do this when someone wronged me at the office. They would immediately reform.
She ought to do something that could give you your salary right away.

thats natural reaction! Just because of that negligence, your needs are affected and that is bad. But try to calm your self, it happened right? you cant reverse it. All you have to do is to wait for your salary.
