Yes, I think people should not use cellphones when they are driving- it has been causing nothing but accidents. I think they will just be cautious when they get into an accident. Prevention is better than cure.

There is only one thing people should be doing as they are driving down the street. That thing is...hang on let me think about it...OH YES DRIVING THEIR VEHICLE AND PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ROAD! I mean is that really that hard of a grasp to understand. There are people who are out on the road, that are the most inattentive drivers, not even bothering to pay attention. Talking on the cell phone is never something that I have really gotten why people would do when driving. To me, I think that if I had a conversation, I would want my entire attention to it, the same thing for driving. You can't really have your entire attention to for two different things. There is a time and a place for multitasking. However, driving down the road, even under the best conditions, is something that requires your full attention.

i was watching oprah a few weeks back too. the topic was about cellular phone users that is also driving at the same time... there was this little girl who is about a few feet awayy from their home... and the lady driving the car was on the phone, so she did not see the girl... the girl was basically in the sidewalk... it was really devastating to know how this can be ... how people would be so irresponsible and careless and actually caused lives!!! Im glad though that here in the Philippines, accidents caused by cellphone users are very minimal.. even though we were branded as the texting capital of the world, if not only in asia perhaps??

That's terrible. Drivers should be careful of what they're doing when they're driving. They might endanger their life doing other things than keeping their eyes on the road.

if your mind or body can't handle multitasking (especially in the event you mention) then there's a high possibility that accidents can happen. then again you can always stop on the shoulder of the road and do your thing.
