Hi. tikbalang56. That is life for you! I do believe in warding off evil spirits and good luck practicing. I don't like Friday the 13th at all. I will never have something nice on this day planned.

I also believe in some superstitious beliefs although most of them don't make any sense. There is no harm in following some of them, as long as we don't really believe them too seriously.

Here is the interesting thing about luck, both good and bad. If we believe something strongly enough, it is going to happen. There are any number of ways that we are going to subconsciously sabotage ourselves for a variety of reasons. I am sure that these things started somewhere. There has to be a lot of interesting reasons behind the bad luck. Still it is because of our beliefs where things happen. If we get it in their mind, then the chances that something that will happen. Just like what we perceive is good luck are really us really being smart enough to play the game right, bad luck is just us being dumb enough in playing the game right. We tend to try and justify these things in our mind for a variety of reasons.

I don't even know who started these superstitions- they aren't even based on science, but I think thee is n harm in following some of them- just to be safe. But i don't believe in Friday the 13th though, it's all in the mind- if you think you're gonna be unlucky, you will be.

It originates from our ancestors seeking to find explanation of everyday events. its up to you to believe it. but just one advice: be optimistic and pray always. that will do you good.
