Quality discussions - Any assurance?

It is an inbuilt characteristic here in myLot for quality discussion. However, whenever you are in discussions, do we make sure that it is commented with the required quality and you are satisfied with it. Depend on some discussion topic, do you ignore the sense of quality as the topic is of with a different nature. Or do you rephrase as it find it lacks quality? Will you take special efforts for the assurance of desired quality OR just complete the discussion as you like?

hi friend...i mostly make sure that i write properly when i am writing a discussion..also while responding and commenting....but i agree sometimes with the lack of time we try to complete a response in hurry....and that is clearly reflected when someone or we ourselves read it again....if it is my own discussion i try to make things and my views clear in my further comments to make it more meaningful...

Actually my friend trying to make own discussion in a best quality and can be treated as a good discussion to discuss not just responding and no other substantial things involve like present situation in my country, the global crisis and some other things that we can share our ideas, opinion and views not only agree and say yes... see you around

Thanks for your comments.
As is said, value is always considered and valued on its respective basis. I think by taking part in challenging topics and discussions, people would be more talkative and which in turn would result in better discussions. By posting nice topics and actively taking part on discussions continuously will improve the quality of discussion and thereby we can expect a still advanced and quality forum herein myLot.

I check the first post to make sure it actually issomething that can be a discussion. If it's a question that has only one right answer, I skip it because it's not really a discussion. Or if they want just a one word answer - like what's your favorite color or where are you from? After I find actual discussion topics, I look for ones I can contribute to. Where I have some knowledge or a real opinion. And, I try to write three or four sentences, usually more, that are on topic and that I took some time to think about.

Hi dear,
Yes, whenever we see a topic we will get an impression on the topic and if we found nice with us, we will definitely make an attempt to go for it. It is again a good idea that better to go for the ones we can comment and we feel to do comment. Otherwise in many times we feel that people just to appear for the topic to make sure that they are managed to comment on it. It is a fact that good discussion topics has always better debate and nice responses.

Hi dear,
Yes, in fact that is what happens to most of the people. In most times, we start with a good beginning and later on want to complete the sessions. But if the topic is interesting, we will be tempted to go for a better of conditions. Thanks for the response and best regards,

I try my best to give what I can to add to the quality of the discussion... but at times, it is not possible... I think I try my best to avoid and just say that I cannot add more value to it, but this depends on whose thread / discussion I am

Hi Sid,
It mostly depend on the subject for me. Some time may be much talkative but won't make much cense in saying too much. But think if I get a good topic, it all will decide the way I comment on it. Most of the time the mood and the nature how I am at that point of time depends all.

What I like about this site is that it gives you the freedom to express. Every time I start a discussion, I just say what is on my mind. It is a great release for me. Of course I want people to comment on it so that I can get different views from others. It is helpful that way. On the other hand, as I go looking for other discussions, I always go first to those which relates to my interest. However, I was able to notice that other discussions, not really of my interests makes me curious and I ended up joining the discussion. The admin also is doing a good job in regulating the discussions. So in all, I think that most if not all the discussions here are of good quality.

Hi dear,
It is noted that the 'out of syllabus' also find good and interesting for you. In fact, the case is same with me also. I got a list of my interests and most of time I will go out of it due to my curiosity. However, a quality associated with all other features make the entire work more attractive.

Well a discussion should have a certain level of quality but in the end it should express what the topic STARTER wants to say, not just change it completely to suit a top 10 quality grade.

It depends on the amount of time i have on hand to mylot. Most of the time, i will take a look on the title before deciding whether to look at the contents. HOwever, this method of mine also depends on who i'm responding to, because if the starter are those whom don't bother to respond back at all, i won't bother much to leave quality comments to their post because it's of no use since they don't even read or comment.
